Understanding the concepts of leadership helps a boy accept the leadership roles of others and guides him toward the citizenship aim of Scouting. The Patrol Leaders Council, lead by the Senior Patrol Leader, plans, creates, guides, and directs all of the happenings and program of the troop.

We are blessed to have such a well diverse group of adults from all walks of life that help support our Troop in untold ways and aid in delivering our quality program. A large majority of our adults have been in the scouting program their entire lives and know the values that scouting bestow upon a young man’s life. Parents do their fair share to aid in many ways from chairing or assisting in fund raising drive to driving when called upon. We thank our adults for their devoted dedication to the Troop. ]]> Philadelphia Academy 5th Graders bring home the Runner Up Trophy at the Brendan and Kevin Boyle Academic Challenge Bowl held at Archbishop Ryan School on Saturday, May 11th.  Our team of students, Christian Cymbalski, Matt Henon, Katelin Markmann, Annalisa Quinn, and Michael Wertz, competed for three intense hours against seven other schools answering questions about Social Sciences, History, Geography, Math, Science, and Pop Culture.  After the first round, PACS placed behind two local schools, and a near perfect performance (38 correct out of 40) on the Math and Science Round propelled them to a spot in the finals.   In the final round, PACS finished just two points behind local private school Nazareth Academy.   Thanks to the students and their parents and the PACS 5th grade teachers for this tremendous accomplishment.

The May and June calendar are filled with Dances and Special Events, including proms and Color Wars. Final examinations will be held in June. Lastly, our seniors will graduate on June 7th at 6:00 pm.
